A: You can only create a mortgage letter if a new exemption has been posted.

From our website, navigate to the parcel carrying the exemption.

If a letter is available, you'll see the banner "Create Mortgage Letter" near the top of the page, next to "2008 Exemptions".

Click on "Create Mortgage Letter"

A page of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) opens. A button to create the letter appears at the top and bottom of the page.

Click on the "Create Mortgage Letter" button. The letter will appear and should be printed so that you can forward it to your Mortgage Lender.

Applications are processed as quickly as possible, but there are many. It may take up to two months after making application for an exemption to be posted on the website.
